Friday night we had the pleasure of going to EskDale for a summer concert. This was the second of three summer concerts, all of which benefit the school. For a $5 donation, you get to enjoy a relaxing evening with talented performers, delicious refreshments, and the beautiful scenery of EskDale.
I enjoyed listening to every performance.
The kids had fun playing on the periphery.
I especially liked this mother-daughter duet! I was having trouble getting the right settings for taking night photos, so I didn't get photos of everyone.
The next concert is August 17--check it out!

Recycling at Great Basin National Park
These recycling dumpsters have recently become a part of Great Basin National Park. They're located at the dump station and are for park visitors and residents. Recycling includes cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminum, and tin.
I really like the park scenes on the recycling bins.

New Road Art
We have some eye-catching new road art in Snake Valley. It sure brightens up the road and gives visitors something extra to talk about. The above entry, "Hello Gorgeous" can be seen from quite far away and always makes me smile.
This clever entry "Please 'spare' Snake Valley's water!" is in the pinyon/juniper area along the cave road (Highway 488).
This beautiful rendition of Great Basin Night Sky is near the road to the Home Farm. It adds a lot of class to our road art!
Looking forward to seeing some more road art! We have an idea or two in mind, and hopefully some other folks do, too.
